The Shreveport-Bossier City Invasion began with the Pee Wee (Novice) Division-55 Lbs at the 75th Annual East Texas Golden Gloves: Cole Ramsey (of the Dement Brothers Old School Boxing Club or DBOSC, Bossier City, LA.), defeated Kash Hardy (Troup Boxing Gym or TBG, Troup, TX). Louisiana State Games and Junior-Senior Olympic Boxing Tournaments Are Coming To North Louisiana In 2016

Two amateur boxing tournaments are scheduled to take place in the cities of West Monroe and Shreveport this year:

  1. Coach George “Sparky” McDuffie confirmed that the West Monroe Boxing Club will once again host the two day 2016 Louisiana State Games Amateur Boxing Tournament during the Month of May (May 14th and 15th) at the West Monroe Convention Center.

  2. The Stephens Boxing Academy confirmed that they will be hosting the 2016 Southern Association Junior-Senior Olympics Boxing Olympics during the Month of April (April 22nd, 23rd and 24th), but are still seeking a venue location to host it. The National Junior Olympics Boxing Tournament will be held in Dallas, Texas.

What North Louisiana Boxing Clubs Will Show up For “The Battle of the Universe” Amateur Boxing Tournament in Crowley, Louisiana?

A little bit of information regarding the “Battle of the Universe” Amateur Boxing Tournament which is being hosted by the GAUTHIER’S BOXING CLUB at the Crowley Rice Arena in Crowley, Louisiana and why it is a very important amateur boxing tournament: This tournament is the first qualifier to enter the 2015 Ringside World Championships (August 5th through the 8th) that will be held at the Independence Events Center in Independence, MO.
